Out of Studio…Glassworks Comes to You!

The Out of Studio Experience provides an hour long program with instruction, and each participant creates a unique glass project.

Choose a location with tables to work, a project, and a theme. Glassworks will take care of the rest!

Options for a Single Event

Suncatcher 4x5” $15 per person, minimum of 20
Self Portrait 3” circle $20 per person, minimum of 15
Cross 5x7” $20 per person, minimum of 15
Name Plaque or Cityscape 3x9” $25 per person, minimum of 12
Mezuzah 2x5” $25 per person, minimum of 12
Fused & Slumped Projects
Everyone works on the same size base and selects a final shape.
5.5” square base $35 per person, minimum of 9
7” square base $45 per person, minimum of 7
9” square base $65 per person, minimum of 5

Minimum 12 people

Set Up Details

Please provide working spaces that will not be damaged by glue, a separate table for glass collection, and chaperones (at least one for every 10 children, even for classes.)

Getting the Projects Back

Glassworks will package everything together, with each project labeled by name. Groups will then be notified that the projects are ready to be picked up at the studio. (Shipping or delivery additional.)

Payment

Glassworks requires a non-refundable $300 deposit to reserve each event or class. Any remainder needs to be paid either on the day of the event (for single visits), or at the midpoint (for classes).

Distance

For any location within 20 miles, travel time is included. For over 20 miles, the standard mileage fee is $2 per extra mile in both directions.

Extras

Frit Balls may be added for $2 per person.

Additional half hours may be purchased at $30 each (if available.)

What is Glassworks?

Glassworks is a public glass fusing studio in Morristown, NJ. Glass fusing is a kiln formed glass processs bonding two or more pieces of glass by controlling time and heat in a kiln.

Anyone can create beautiful artwork by designing with small pieces of colored glass on a clear base.

After firing and processing, projects will be ready for pick up in one to two weeks.
